I’m usually not a huge fan of camo, however every once in awhile a print calls me; like this pink camo waffle knit from Mily Mae Fabrics. When I received it, I knew it had to be a stylish cardigan.
Pattern
Butterfly Cardigan from Patterns for Pirates. There is also a matching women’s pattern, the Cocoon Cardigan.
I made the tunic length, long sleeves, short bands with patch pockets. In sizes 3T and 6.
Changes
Cut the sleeves at the hemmed sleeve mark, which made for a longer cozier sleeve.
Oh and from the scraps I made these cute boot cuffs. They are a free pattern from Made for Mermaids on their blog and there is no need to print, they provide the measurements as well as a printable pattern.
My little ladies loved this look and were absolutely thrilled about the pockets.
I don’t think I’ve met one woman who didn’t love a pocket.
This outfit is simply adorable!
Until next time, Happy Creating!
