Hi Modistas!
I’m such a homebody and I love fashion, so naturally I like to look cute while waltzing around the house…but not too cute to were I’m uncomfortable, you know?
Every once in awhile I’ll make a trendy outfit that works for home and running out of the house. It was past that time, so I got to work making this adorable lounge set.
Now, My go to for lounging is french terry and joggers, they are both very comfortable and easy to move in. This tie dye french terry is from Mily Mae, color way Rose/Sage/Tan.
These “joggers” are a little bit different though, they are a cross between a legging and a jogger, a Logger from Patterns for Pirates. It’s basically a tight fitted jogger and I love them! I actually cut a pair 6 months ago before we moved.. that keeps getting pushed aside, it’s just waiting for me to sew it 😩.
Here, I made the high waist pants with the tall band.
The top is the X Factor, a somewhat new pattern, also from Patterns for Pirates. A cropped top and dress with a criss-cross front hem. If I do make it again, I’ll mosty likely lengthen it for a little more coverage.
I definitely see more Loggers in my future. Hopfully, I’ll get around to sewing up the first pair. I may even purchase the youth pattern, which is also available in the X Factor too.
How are you lounging these days?
Happy Creating 😊
