I have another Mommy and Me to share! I really adore this one, mostly because it’s so simple and super flattering!
The pattern I used is the Felicity from Made for Mermaids, it’s part of their resort collection. Seriously go check out that collection, I love it!
The Felicity comes in women’s and girls sizes. There are 3 lengths; shirt, dress and maxi with a flounce option. This is a swing type dress and top; you can choose from the slim or swing cut.
I made the slim cut dress twice for myself and the swing cut shirts for the girls.
(This is the second one I made in double brushed polyester from Sly Fox Fabrics)
Right now, I’m working on the dress length and flouce option for the girls. Can you tell that I love this dress?!
It hides my mommy tummy and back, while giving me excellent shape. I love that you can dress it up or down, even make it into a nightgown. I totally see me making a few nightgowns with this.
For our matching outfits, I used a ITY/DTY Calliope Rose from Mily Mae Fabrics. This fabric also comes in another colorway, Calliope Fuchsia. I purchased this one as well (I have no idea what I’m going to do with it though). The fabric is very cool to the touch, with that and the loose fitting style of the dress it is perfect for those hot summer days.
